Tony Slemker grew up in Trotwood, Ohio where he attended Trotwood Madison High School. While attending school Tony would help his father fix used cars almost every day, as his father had a used car lot. After absorbing as much information as possible, his father sent him to various industry connections to further grow his mechanic passion.

Upon graduating from high school, Tony attended trade school in Columbus, OH while continuing to work on cars in his spare time.  After trade school in Columbus he went on to Millwright Trade, where he then learned about large equipment & welding.  Slemker’s education continued to grow after six years at Millwright by attending AC Delco Schools, Ford/GM Training, and Sinclair.

Renting out a two-car garage in Trotwood, OH and calling it “Slemker Service”, Tony embarked on his own auto repair business.  A little over two years later and the business was so busy that he had outgrown his space.  That’s when the current property/building was purchased and renamed Slemker Auto Care.

For over 30 years Slemker Auto Care has provided the Dayton area with excellent & dependable service.  Tony is involved with many organizations outside of work; Trotwood Historical Society, Northmont Chamber of Commerce, Trotwood Chamber of Commerce, and WACO Historical Society in Troy.  Additionally, Slemker Auto Care is the proud sponsor of Northmont Soccer & Sinclair College of Automotive Technology.
